Whats On At The Water Rat
A visit to the Water Rat is always a highlight in itself – but we aim to ‘highlight the highlights’ with a range of great themed events, designed to hold special appeal for you. We have exotically themed nights with authentically flavoured dishes featuring Chinese, Mexican, Greek and Indian cuisine in addition to, from ‘across the pond,’ American burger nights... and nearer home, speciality nights featuring corned beef hash, chicken in the basket and good old pie and chips!

The Sun is shining at The Water Rat and so we have purchased a new ice cream freezer so our ice cream parlour is serving every day until 5pm. Come treat yourself to some great flavours.
We are also providing you with many special offers on bulk buying bottles of beer so keep checking Facebook for these updates.
2 For £10 Wednesdays
Our fantastic 2 dine for £10 wednesdays has taken ripon by storm averaging 100 covers a week on this if you have not been down and tried then please come in and sample the set menu. It changes each week and once a month we throw in Steak Frittes!
Art Exhibition
Local artist Anthea Bisson designed the Water Rat Logo for us many years ago and has now returned to the Water Rat with an exhibition entitled Blue. Framed Pictures and Prints are all for sale or just come in and admire her work. Anthea’s website www.antheabisson.co.uk
